Hi Tim

Honoured that you quoted my blog. Thank you.

I would just like to add that social media kstrategies can go beyond public relations into client management and employee management.

You client, with a large staff complement, should be looking at using social media to manage employee communications and engagement. This is a huge benefit for large organisations and opens the door to a better understanding of social media communication.

Great post!

Cheers

For our ministry, building relationships are key but we also need social media to allow convey our mission and keep our followers up to date. I completely understand trying to balance engaging your following without the sales pitch. Great post.

Thank you,

Hi Brian - thanks for the encouragement! I have a passion for worship and hope that you will gain some practical insight and enthusiasm from my posts. I also have a ministry blog at http://stoplistenlove.blogspot.com which you might find useful for devotionals with your team.
Great article. I happen to be at a point where I am not only wanting to draw recognition to my band but I have been asked to lead the social media campaign for a new church. There are definitely challenges involved and I look forward to reading more from your blog.

QUESTION: (mike)
"awesome update, can you help me? How do i link my Twitter profile, to my Facebook profile, so that when i Tweet, it comes through on Facebook profile too??..."
ANSWER: (timslatter.com)
There's an app called selective tweets, once activated, whenever you end a tweet with the hashtag #fb, it will publish it to your facebook profile - but only ones with the hashtag. It has recently been upgraded and works for pages as well as profiles. Check out http://www.facebook.com/selectivetwitter.
